Justina Roth – Chief Operations Officer, Milford
Acts of Kindness.
As the Chief Operations Officer, Justina is able to influence the personality and direction of the Bank and how we run the day-to-day business. She’s most proud of the fact that we provide the latest banking products, as well as a place where people can share their lives. The interaction with customers and co-workers is her very favorite part of the job.
“Every day you learn something new, so there’s never a dull moment,” says Justina, who started at the Bank as a student teller 13 years ago. Her degree in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University gives her the foundation to run Bank operations and the skills to be a highly developed communicator. She understands the importance of “heart” when it comes to communicating. It’s not just verbal. “It can also be shown through acts of kindness,” she adds.
It’s one of the reasons the Bank started sending cards to customers who opened accounts. “Treat each other with respect” is Justina’s motto, which fits right in with the Bank’s practice of always saying thank you and being grateful for people’s work and our customers’ business.
Getting Around Nebraska.
In her role, Justina is involved in all 11 Bank locations, which suits her well. For the past three years, she’s also participated in the Nebraska Passport Program, which guides her to hidden gems and travel adventures throughout the state.
Another leisure pursuit is a passion for addressing envelopes with her unique style. Justina does it for herself and others, allowing her creative juices to flow. “I’m pleased easily!” she admits. It’s one more act of kindness that includes sending cards and packages to people. But don’t let that laid-back hobby fool you; after seeing President George H.W. Bush jump out of a plane, on the top of Justina’s bucket list is skydiving!
