Smart Business: Beaver Hardware
Farmers & Merchants Bank is proud to recognize Beaver Hardware as our featured “Smart Business” of the month.
The hardware store in Beaver Crossing has been in business since 1890. Kenny and Dean Pankoke purchased Beaver Hardware in 1989 and Kenny and Christy Pankoke took over in 1991. Kenny, Christy and their children, Kelli, Megan, Kyle, and Arin all work in the day-to-day operations of the store which maintains a full Hardware Store product line excluding lumber.
The Pankoke’s pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service with merchandise at affordable prices. From time to time they have Traeger Grill and Milwaukee Equipment promotions, often providing cookouts at the store.
Since the Pankoke’s became the proprietors of Beaver Hardware, the store has grown from one building to occupying nearly one half of a city block and six buildings. Beaver Hardware boasts clientele from a large radius and patrons come from many towns around the area to take advantage of the vast inventory and the Pankoke’s friendly and helpful customer service.
Rosco the dog is the store mascot and is always on hand during store hours to offer a warm welcome.
We are thankful that Beaver Hardware picked business banking at Farmers & Merchants Bank to help them be successful and reach their financial goals.
