Amber Koch – Loans

Part of the Family.

According to Amber Koch, there are major benefits to working at a bank that offers all the services of the big guys (and possibly more) and is located in the small town of Wilber. It’s the “family feel!”

After 12 years at Farmers & Merchants Bank, Amber has built strong relationships with all of her customers. Even her co-workers feel like family. The bank encourages and promotes positive connections in every interaction that takes place.

That helps in Amber’s area of expertise. She specifically works with Ag loans to prepare and finish the documents to make sure every detail in the files is correct. All the while, good relationships help her excel when it comes to communicating with her customers. Professional, courteous, friendly, easy to talk to––this is how Amber operates.

Amber learned all the ins and outs of being a loan administrator on the job. However, her prior experience also relates. She worked as a travel agent in Lincoln, was the grain department clerk at Farmers Co-op in Plymouth, and the agronomy/grain department secretary at Farmers Co-op in Wilber.

A Volunteer with a Big Heart.

It’s difficult to list all of Amber’s volunteer contributions, but just mentioning a few gives you an idea of the kind of person she is. She’s been a member of the Tri County Parent-Teachers Organization since 2009, serving as president, vice president and secretary; is currently chairman of the Missoula Children’s Theater; is a member of the Tri-County Educational Foundation Board; and, in the past, has been the Sunday school superintendent at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Much of Amber’s free time is spent watching her boys in their various activities, hanging out with family and following politics. She’s an admitted “huge political nerd!”
